Bud & Blossom's Favorite CBD Products

In this article, I will highlight some of my favorite CBD products - a list that I will continually populate as I add to my personal CBD repertoire.

Just a reminder! I am not a medical practitioner, and so although I am highlighting my favorite CBD products here today, I still encourage you to do your own research on CBD and consult your medical provider if you do decide to consume CBD for the first time.

When it comes to CBD, it can all feel a little overwhelming at first. Don’t worry - I’ve been through this and am more than happy to provide guidance.

  • First of all, check out my new CBD guide, “CBD for Self-Healing”. In this resource, you will find information on the fundamentals of CBD and how to incorporate CBD healing into your own life.

  • Also, head on over to my coaching page for information about my cannabis coaching programs. I can help you determine the best CBD product for you, guide you through the CBD purchasing process, and outline how to get started with self-titrated dosing. If you have any questions, please connect with me directly.

With that, here’s my CBD list! May these CBD products help you on your journey to bud and blossom <3

Full-Suite CBD Product Lines

What do I mean by full-suite product lines? In this section, I will be highlighting specific brands that carry all kinds of CBD products, from tinctures and oils to vape cartridges to topicals to inhalers. Some of these brands carry CBD isolates and broad-spectrum products only, while others carry full-spectrum formulations that offer the healing of the entourage effect.

Not sure what type of product you might need? Check out my blog post: New to CBD? I Got You!

I have included notes about each brand below, but if you have specific questions, I invite you to visit the company’s website. I have included links to each CBD company for your convenience.

  • Calm Better Days (US)

Calm Better Days is an excellent full-service CBD website highlighting beautiful & clean CBD products as well as great information about the benefits of CBD. This company is run by a passionate CBD evangelist, Amy Chin, who has used CBD to improve her own health and anxiety. Throughout the website, you’ll see CBD represented in an honest and accurate way. Amy also offers product consultations for any customers seeking guidance on finding the right CBD product for them.

Because the CBD sold at Calm Better Days is within legal limits, you can order any of those products and have them shipped to your door (as long as you live United States).

So whether you’re looking for CBD tinctures, oils, topicals, bath bombs, or more, do be sure to see what Calm Better Days has to offer. You can learn more about their product offering at calmbetterdays.co or on Instagram @calm_better_days.

  • Green Revolution (WA and CA)

Green Revolution is one of the leading CBD brands in Washington and California. In fact, whenever I am advising a friend or client seeking CBD in my home state of Washington, one of the first products I highlight is Green Revolution’s “Relief” Cannabis Tincture. This is a great product for someone who is just starting the CBD titration process. Why? Because the formulation is high-CBD and low-THC and I know many people who have adopted this formula as their CBD “go-to”.

Green Revolution tinctures come in a variety of “carriers” or bases. They offer products with water, vegetable glycerin, and avocado oil bases and some of the formulations contain lemon essential oils. Green Revolution products are widely available in dispensaries across Washington and California and you can learn more about their product offering at greenrevolution.com or on Instagram @expgreenrevolution

  • Fairwinds (WA State)

Fairwinds is another top CBD brand that is widely available in Washington state. They carry cannabis and CBD oils made with avocado oil, so this is a good alternative if water/vegetable glycerin/ethanol bases are not a match for you. Fairwinds also creates one of my favorite topicals, see “CBD Topicals and Skincare” section below for information about their incredible FLOW Gel.

For more on Fairwinds, visit their website and check them out on Instagram at @fairwinds_cannabis_

  • Sacred Smoke Herbals (US)

One of my favorite shop finds of 2020 is Sacred Smoke Herbals, an online shop that sells many wellness products, including CBD flower, CBD oils, and gorgeous CBD bath bombs. What’s amazing is that through Sacred Smoke Herbals, customers can even purchase hemp flower (which contains less than 0.3% THC) and have it delivered directly to their door. I ordered a CBD joint in the mail and let’s just say it was very “2021”.

While this shop does not offer high-THC options, there are broad-spectrum CBD tinctures available that include other beneficial cannabinoids, including CBG. My favorite tincture from Sacred Smoke Herbals is the Harmony formula, which is made using both CBD and CBG and comes in various natural flavors.

Follow Sacred Smoke Herbals on Instagram @sacredsmokeherbals and check out their shop at sacredsmokeherbals.com.

  • MATCH CANNA (US)

With a focus on clean, luxurious CBD products that support natural healing, MATCH CANNA is on a mission to share quality CBD with the world! I just love the clarity and simplicity of their CBD oils. Every time I place some of MATCH CANNA’s oil underneath my tongue, I know that I'm doing something great for myself. And that is an energy I can carry with me throughout the rest of my day!

My go-to CBD product from MATCH CANNA right now: MATCH CANNA's Extra Strength CBD Oil

Follow MATCH CANNA on Instagram @matchcanna and visit their website at matchcanna.com.

  • Brio Nutrition (US)

Brio Nutrition produces many broad-spectrum CBD products, including tinctures, coffee creamers, topicals, and gummies. I have tried many of their products, my favorite being the vanilla-flavored coffee creamer. When you’re busy in the morning and rushing out the door, it’s a blessing to just be able to pour one product into your coffee that provides both great taste and your dose of CBD!

For more on Brio Nutrition’s CBD offerings, visit brionutrition.com or follow them on Instagram @brionutrition

  • Polite (WA State and US)

Polite is available in Washington State and is quickly becoming one of my favorite CBD product lines in the i502 marketplace. They also sell their CBD/hemp line online and can ship to customers around the United States.

Polite creates CBD oil formulations with other enhancing ingredients, from minor cannabinoids (including CBG) to other essential oils that contribute to healing. These products taste great and make an impact, too. Check out my favorite CBD tincture by Polite, their “Power Up” formula. I relied on this during the summer of 2021 to find power when I felt like I was running on empty! Polite also offers CBD vape pens that are a great option to keep beside your at-home desk… you can puff away when you get a stressful email :) Finally, no joke - a woman at the gas station told me that Polite’s topicals have totally changed her life!

Follow Polite on IG at @staypolitehemp and visit them online on their website, www.staypolitehemp.com.

  • Popped.NYC (US)

Popped NYC is a CBD company that has been in the CBD game for longer than most - since 2015, in fact! This brand is on top of it from an education, branding, and quality standpoint. I would highlight Popped.NYC for anyone new to CBD or looking for a quality CBD supplier.

Popped.NYC products are either CBD isolates or broad-spectrum products, meaning they can be shipped to anywhere in the United States. Another great thing about Popped.NYC is that they carry products with a notably high concentration of cannabinoids, including CBD Oil Drops in a 1,000MG Extra Strength Formula. High-strength formulas are great for patients who don’t want to buy a new vial of CBD every couple of weeks. If you have been seeking a high-strength CBD formula, consider Popped NYC for your next CBD purchase.

Visit the Popped.NYC website at popped.nyc and follow their Instagram account @popped.nyc.

  • Tommy Chong’s Cannabis (US)

Tommy Chong, the one and only, has his own cannabis brand! By sourcing products from Tommy and his team, you will be able to know that you’re purchasing from someone who really understands and celebrates the cannabis plant :)

Tommy’s brand features many CBD and cannabis products. In particular, I really like the tinctures. I often use the “peppermint drops” for my daily microdose. Also, one of my family members let me know that they’re finding great results by using Tommy’s Good Vibes drops during the day and then using the Nice Dreams formula for nighttime.

Also, Tommy’s email copy is wonderful. When you sign up for his mailing list, your email inbox will become a more joyful place. Tommy sends out heartfelt “dispatches” where he shares patient stories and his greater vision for cannabis. So insightful… and delightful!

For more on Tommy Chong’s Cannabis, visit his website at tommychong.com and follow him on Instagram @heytommychong.

CBD Box Sets

Box sets are a wonderful option if you want to treat yourself - or a friend - to a luxurious gift. CBD gift boxes are awesome because they usually contain products from many different CBD administration methods. For example, in one box, you might get a CBD lip balm, a CBD tincture, and a CBD bath oil! It’s very exciting to receive multiple products together in one, beautifully wrapped box… without any of the choice paradox rolled into the experience.

  • Docent Delivered (US)

Docent Delivered is a CBD gift box company that has put together an amazing offering for their customers. I recently received one of their boxes and it felt like Christmas morning opening it up. I recorded the unboxing of my Docent Delivered CBD Box; check out the video on YouTube for an inside look into the Docent Delivered experience.

Docent Delivered partners with other CBD brands to put together a unique CBD gift box each month. In the box that I received, I got so many new products that I had never tried before, including a CBD mask, CBD energy powder CBD lip balm, a CBD salve, and cinnamon-flavored CBD oil. This company really lives up to their tagline, “Serenity at your Door”. Ahh - don’t we all need a little of that right now?

For more on Docent Delivered, visit their website at docentdelivered.com and follow them on Instagram @docentdelivered.

CBD Topicals & Skin Care

As someone who has constant knee pain from an old sports injury, I rely on CBD topicals to keep me going when something, like a long hike or even just a change in the weather, throws me off my game. No matter what, I always keep CBD topicals on hand to manage pain flare-ups. And, food for thought: CBD lotions are great for at-home couple’s massages!

If you live in the United States or Canada, then let’s be real - you’ve probably seen CBD topicals everywhere. But... which ones are the best? Well, that’s certainly up for debate. But I’ve done some homework for you here. Here are a few of my favorite CBD topicals to date.

  • Ceres Dragon Balm (WA State)

This stuff is the real deal. I’m not kidding when I say this product has a cult following in my local community! Even my parents, who I would bill as somewhat accepting of cannabis as medicine, use this topical and frequently talk about how well it works.

The Dragon Balm comes in two forms, a lotion and also a roll-on balm; application of the balm is similar to using a roll-on deodorant. You can purchase Dragon Balm at most dispensaries in the Washington state cannabis market. I can’t find a website for Ceres, the manufacturer of Dragon Balm. But just ask for “Dragon Balm” when you go to the dispensary and your budtender will likely know it by name!

  • FLOW Gel by Fairwinds (WA State)

This silky substance is one of my favorite CBD topicals! It’s not a lotion or a balm, per se… it’s a gel. The consistency feels like aloe on your skin. This product has high CBD, some THC, and it also contains cannabis terpenes and added essential oils. Because this is a full-spectrum product, it is only available in legal cannabis dispensaries.

The terpenes and essential oils in FLOW Gel enhance therapeutic results. If you’re in the market for a deeply therapeutic topical option, this one might just be for you. And… these terpenes also smell amazing! Uncapping this product is like taking a whiff of an orange!

  • Cannabis Basics Topicals (US)

I am a new customer to Cannabis Basics, but I have it from a trusted source that this brand is one of the highest-quality products available in drug stores across the Pacific Northwest.

Cannabis Basics produces CBD isolate products (containing no THC) as well as full-spectrum products with less than 0.3% THC. The latter is often used for CHABA massage. Haven’t had a CHABA massage? Let me tell you: it’s amazing. A CHABA massage is when the masseuse uses cannabis-infused lotion during the massage. Check out my blog post, “CBD for Pain, Irritability, and Anxiety” for my experience getting a Cannabis Basics CHABA massage.

For more on Cannabis Basics, visit their website at www.cannabisbasics.com and follow them on Instagram at @cannabisbasics1.

  • Kush Creams (US)

Kush Creams is a craft brand that is made here in the PNW. Kush Creams is a fan favorite among local consumers and cannabis healers alike!

Kush Creams is one of the only topical brands I've come across that produces "strain-specific" products, meaning they create the topicals from specific strains rather than mixing an assortment of cannabis flower (like most other topical brands). For a more relaxing experience or nighttime use, I would highlight some of the more "indica-leaning" strains, including the Permafrost, Purple Haze, O.G. Kush, or Natural Sensi. And, for a more energizing and activated experience, I would recommend the Super Lemon Haze.
These topicals have some THC in them, but they fall under the 0.3% THC legal limit so they are able to be shipped anywhere in the United States.

Here is a link to their website: https://kushcreams.com/order-online/

  • CBD Revolution Topicals (US)

CBD Revolution has a wide array of CBD-based products, from skincare, to topicals, to luxurious CBD manicure kits. Something I love about CBD Revolution is that they use all natural ingredients that have been locally sourced, such as Oregon grown blueberries. Doesn’t this just sound absolutely decadent? Currently, I’m using CBD Revolution’s Soothe Facial Creme and it’s giving my skin that additional boost I have been seeking.

For more on CBD Revolution, check out their website at www.cbdrevolution.com or follow them on IG at @originalcbdrevolution

BONUS! I interviewed Beth Van Elswyk, Director of Sales for CBD Revolution, for the Bud & Blossom Podcast. During our chat, Beth shared the amazing backstory of CBD Revolution and how dedicated this brand is to serving their customers. In fact, the company solicits customer feedback from their customer base to ensure that the products are providing optimal therapeutic relief. The people behind CBD Revolution are good people :) To listen to my chat with Beth, check out the podcast episode here: Ep. 9: Interview with Beth Van Elswyk - Planting a Better Future

  • Josie Moran Skincare (US)

If you’re a skincare fanatic, then you probably know about Josie Moran products. And now, two wonderful things have been combined - and Josie Moran now offers CBD and hemp serums and oils!

I am currently using the SKIN DOPE oil. This is made with 50% argan oil and 50% hemp seed oil. On days when I take a break from foundation (let’s be real, all the days I don’t have a web meeting scheduled), I use only this oil on my face. It feels great knowing that I’m giving my skin a break from makeup and also enhancing my skin’s glow by activating the cannabis receptors in the skin along my cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead.

If you’re in the market for a high-quality skin product that incorporates the benefits of cannabis, consider Josie Moran. You can visit their website for information about their hemp - or “DOPE” - product line at josiemarancosmetics.com

CBD Capsules

Didja know? You can buy capsules filled with CBD oil! CBD capsules are a great option for people who would prefer to have their dose neatly packaged into pill form (as opposed to the self-measured dose of a tincture). I personally love CBD capsules - I can carry a few with me in my purse, making dosing easy when I’m out and about.

  • Double Delicious Capsules (WA State)

My favorite brand of CBD capsules are made by Double Delicious here in my home state of Washington. These cover all the bases - they are made with simple ingredients (just cannabis oil and coconut oil in these bad boys) and they are also affordable. At most dispensaries around Washington, you can find these capsules for a mere $20 (for a pack of 10 capsules).

Double Delcious capsules come in both high-CBD and high-THC options. When you see them at the store, I encourage you to work with the budtender to determine which cannabinoid ratio is right for you.

If you want to follow along with Double Delicious and find their products, check out their website at doubledelicious.net and follow them on Instagram @doublecannabis.

  • Green Revolution Fast Tabs (WA State)

These “Fast Tabs” by Green Revolution are one of my favorite CBD go-to’s! Especially when I am experiencing bouts of back pain, I carry these tablets with me in my purse. They are not capsules, exactly - these are little chewable tablets and they can be taken without water. Great for on the go!

Fast Tabs are available in several different formulations, including “Happiest Self” and “Vitality”. And they are high CBD, low THC - each tablet contains 10mg CBD and just 0.2mg THC. This means that the tablets are not likely to generate intoxication - they don’t for me, anyway. And yet, because there is some THC, these tablets allow our body to experience the entourage effect. This is what you want for optimal relief!

This is a CBD product that I have used at work to improve my performance, reduce aches and pains, and not have to worry about psychoactivity. Win-win-win.

For more on Green Revolution’s Fast Tabs, check out the product description on Green Revolution’s website.

CBD for Pets

OK, you’re probably already aware of this… but CBD can be great for our pets, too! Because animals have an endocannabinoid system like humans do, they can benefit from cannabinoids to enhance their endocannabinoid health.

Word of warning: be cautious when it comes to THC and your pets. Dogs and cats, in particular, have a higher density of CB1 receptors than humans do, making them more sensitive to THC. So, if you do decide to explore cannabis wellness for your pet, I would suggest sourcing from a pet-friendly company that you trust and making sure that the formula has low doses of THC, if any at all.

  • Pet Ness (US)

My favorite CBD pet product is Pet-Ness’ Cat Drops. I give these to my cat, Thomas, whenever he’s exhibiting signs of unrest or irritability. It’s as simple as adding a few droplets onto his kibble when I feed him in the evenings and voila… happier cat!  I actually have a video posted on Youtube in which I share the experience of using Pet Ness Cat Drops for Thomas. Check it out here!

If you’re interested in Pet Ness, visit their website at petness.com and follow them on Instagram @petnesscbd.

If you have any questions about the products listed above, or just CBD in general, give me a shout! And, don’t forget to enjoy your CBD journey :)

Much love,
