About
Bud & Blossom provides holistic wellness guidance and support to people as they transform their health and their lives.
Bud & Blossom is helmed by Heather Dagley, holistic wellness guide specializing in hemp wellness and endocannabinoid and nervous system stabilization. By combining education on holistic tools (such as hemp, cold water & nature exposure, yoga, and more) with practical tips and support, Bud & Blossom helps you achieve a balanced mind, body, and spirit.
The name “Bud & Blossom” signifies the growth, transformation, and healing that is available to us through whole-body healing and was inspired by the following quote:
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
~ Anais Nin
Mission
To help people rediscover balance, resilience, and vitality by supporting their body’s natural systems — especially the nervous and endocannabinoid systems — through education, plant-based guidance, and intentional wellness practices.

Bud & Blossom envisions wellness as a blooming journey — one where nervous system stability, plant allies, and soulful self-care pave the way to healing and wholeness.

Why Bud & Blossom?
Many factors in modern life contribute to declining health. Stress, environmental exposures, poor sleep, and nervous system overload can leave the body out of balance — and the effects show up in how we feel.
When conventional approaches fall short, many people begin exploring alternative wellness tools. Hemp and cannabinoid products are increasingly popular, but the information surrounding them can be confusing. People often wonder: Where do I buy hemp? What products are trustworthy? How much should I take? How often? And how does hemp actually work in the body?
Bud & Blossom was created to help answer these questions through clear, thoughtful education.
A core focus of Bud & Blossom’s educational content is the endocannabinoid system (ECS) — one of the body’s most important regulatory networks. The ECS plays a key role in maintaining internal balance, supporting processes such as mood regulation, pain response, immune function, sleep, and nervous system stability.
Through articles, resources, and wellness insights, Bud & Blossom explores how cannabinoids, along with supportive lifestyle practices like nutrition, movement, breathwork, and stress management, may help support healthy ECS function.
By understanding how the endocannabinoid system works and how it interacts with plant compounds like cannabinoids, people can make more informed choices about their wellness routines and explore ways to support greater balance and resilience in the body.
At its heart, Bud & Blossom exists to make hemp and cannabinoid education more approachable — helping people better understand their bodies and the systems that support long-term well-being.

A Note from Heather
It all started when…
Bud & Blossom was born out of my own experience with cannabis and holistic healing. I like to call it my cannabis transformation.
Before I started using cannabis medicinally, I was in poor health. My body felt out of balance, I was achy and anxious much of the time, and I was relying on alcohol to cope with stress and dissatisfaction. As you might imagine… that approach didn’t work very well.
Everything began to shift when I started exploring medical cannabis. It became a catalyst for positive change in my life — helping me regain my health, reconnect with healthier lifestyle choices, and begin feeling like the brightest version of myself again.
My Journey into Holistic Healing
As I started feeling better through a combination of cannabis and other holistic practices, I became deeply curious about the plant and the many tools that support wellness.
Over the past several years, I’ve immersed myself in learning about cannabis, hemp, and holistic health. Along the way I’ve worked as a budtender and received my Medical Marijuana Consultant Certification, written educational content for a cannabis company, and pursued additional training in the wellness space.
During the pandemic, I completed certification through the Cannabis Coaching Institute, and I have since expanded my studies into other holistic modalities. Today I’m also a certified cold water immersion guide and yoga teacher, and I enjoy exploring practices such as breathwork, restorative yoga, and sound healing.
Bud & Blossom has become a place where I share what I’ve learned along this path — and what continues to inspire me.
My Big “Why”
I do this work because I love health and wellness, but also because I love people. And good health supports people.
Throughout my life I’ve often looked around and thought: many of us could use a little more support in navigating the stresses and burdens of modern life.
In my own experience, cannabis — that oft-misunderstood green plant — can be a meaningful tool for easing some of those burdens. From helping the body manage pain, inflammation, and stress to opening doors to deeper self-awareness, cannabis has the potential to support both physical and emotional well-being when used thoughtfully.
How Hemp Fits In
A central part of what I share through Bud & Blossom relates to the endocannabinoid system (ECS) — one of the body’s most important regulatory networks.
The ECS helps maintain balance across many systems in the body, influencing things like mood, sleep, inflammation, and stress response. Cannabinoids from hemp and cannabis interact with this system in fascinating ways, which is why many people find them helpful as part of a broader wellness routine.
Through the Bud & Blossom blog and educational resources, I explore how cannabinoids — along with supportive practices like time in nature, nourishing food, breathwork, movement, and stress management — may help support a healthier and more balanced body.
